COVID-19 Statement to our Customers, Suppliers, and Partners
Dear Customers, Suppliers, and Partners:
With the current Coronavirus levels throughout our region, we have to take additional precautions. Many of our facilities are located in Level three or higher areas. Because of this, we may limit the number of people allowed within the buildings, and will require that you wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth. Please help us provide a safe environment for our customers and employees as we endure this virus together. Conduct as much business as possible online or over the phone, and when entering our offices wear a mask. Be well!
Dear Valued Customer/Supplier/Partner:
Ohio Machinery Co. is committed to the health and safety of our employees, our customers, and our community. As COVID-19 continues to evolve, Ohio Machinery Co. would like to provide reassurance that we are closely monitoring the developing situation and have resources in place to minimize disruption of our operations. Our plan is for all locations to remain open for business. Our teams have taken important steps – including those recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and other government agencies – to address COVID-19, and we’ll continue to be proactive in our response to this dynamic and fluid situation
Below are some of the actions we’ve taken:
- Updating and informing our employees about how to stay healthy, including stopping airline travel and limiting local travel, providing clear direction on safe working environments, procedures and customer interactions, as well as identifying and encouraging those who may be symptomatic to not come to work and focus on their wellness.
- Supporting flexible work and virtual meeting options for those employees who can work from home to avoid exposure. For our employees where working from home is not an option, including service technicians and parts personnel, we have instituted isolation procedures to ensure we maintain this critical workforce. We will work closely with our customer sites to ensure we comply with customer expectations and local procedures.
- Encouraging customers to use our websites to order parts online and use our drop box service where possible to minimize face to face interactions. We are working closely with our suppliers to ensure supply chain continuity, with adequate inventory at our major branches and the ability to move parts fluidly throughout the system.
- We will continue to monitor reports and requirements from local, state and federal government health agencies and will modify our approach accordingly. We remain focused in our dedication to serving you as we navigate these unique challenges.
