INTERBRANCH SHUTTLE

Offering the ultimate in parts availability. Ohio CAT’s inter-branch shuttle travels hundreds of miles each day delivering parts to our Ohio CAT facilities. This means that our customers, as well as our shops, have backordered parts on-hand when the next workday begins.

PRODUCT SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES

Ohio CAT has a highly trained Product Support Representative work force traveling Ohio CAT’s territory daily, providing consultation for parts, repair options and programs that best fit individual needs and reduce operating costs.

REPAIR OPTIONS

When a warning sign signals a potential problem, Ohio CAT has diagnostic and repair options that help you make an informed decision at known costs.

  • Drive Train – Our drive train repair options include routine preventive maintenance, and before failure overhauls on transmissions, torque converters, final drives, differentials, and brakes.
  • Engine – Our engine repair options are designed to reduce cost and downtime by repairing before failure. Many models can be overhauled either in-frame or out-of-frame, depending on the extent of the repair required. They are supported by Caterpillar’s remanufactured components program and parts reusability guidelines.
  • Self-Service Options – There’s no need to wait on common repairs. Sometimes it just makes sense to do your own repairs and maintenance.—made available to you, Cat® Self-Service Options offer integrated custom solutions. We offer the convenience of online ordering, pickup at your preferred Ohio Cat location, or delivery to site with relatively simple to follow service instructions packaged with each part. TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

Technical Analysis is a machine inspection program that helps spot minor
problems before they can become major repairs. Technical Analysis are complete and thorough, yet can be performed quickly and easily in the shop or field.

S.O.S. WEAR ANALYSIS

Scheduled Oil Sampling identifies abnormal wear on specific components by determining the amounts of various wear particles in the oil. Other tests measure viscosity and detect fuel, water, and anti-freeze dilution.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AGREEMENTS

Customer Support Agreements (CSA) helps our customers achieve the lowest owning and operating costs throughout the life of machine ownership. A CSA can be any agreement between Ohio CAT and you our customer to support your operation. Common types of agreements include Inspection Agreements, Preventive or Planned Maintenance Agreements, Custom Hydraulic Service, or Total Maintenance & Repair Agreements. With a large fleet of Specialized Lube Trucks and Centralized scheduling and dispatching Ohio CAT is prepared to support all you maintenance needs.

CAT® CERTIFIED MACHINE REBUILD

Many times an older machine contains a second life waiting to be revived. Our shops can provide a frame-up rebuild that starts with a thorough inspection and ends with a like new machine with a new machine warranty, for a fraction of the price of new.

CUSTOM TRACK SERVICE

Ohio CAT’s Custom Track Service (CTS) is designed specifically for track-type
machine owners. CTS inspections include a complete inspection with a report advising when maintenance should be performed. To speed undercarriage repair, Ohio CAT has exchange rollers and idlers available for select models as well as a complete inventory of new undercarriage components.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATOR TRAINING

Ohio CAT offers maintenance and operator training to keep operating
costs down. These programs will help you analyze your maintenance and
operating practices and identify procedures that result in improved efficiency and machine availability.

EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Through Caterpillar® software programs, Ohio CAT offers a wide variety of
equipment management systems to help you better manage your business.
From analyzing your equipment investments to scheduling your preventative maintenance, these programs are designed to help you manage your equipment in the most efficient and profitable manner.

COMPLETE HYDRAULIC COMPONENT SERVICE

Complete Hydraulic Component Service repairs hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves for Cat and Non Cat mobile and earthmoving equipment as well as industrial components. Each unit is tested to assure it meets original factory specifications. Complete Hydraulic Service offers 24/7 coverage, no charge for pick-up, delivery and inspection. We also offer mobile line boring and extensive in-house welding and machining capabilities including repair of equalizer bars, pivot shafts, final
drive hubs, etc.

RENTAL SERVICES

Ohio CAT maintains one of the largest rental fleets in Ohio. From crawler tractors to loader backhoes; generator sets to light plants, “think of us first” for your short and long-term rental needs.

FINANCIAL SERVICES

Through Cat Financial Services, Ohio CAT can offer flexible, money-saving
financing on the entire line of machines, engines, and generator sets. We offer full financial services including installment sale contracts, finance leases, tax leases and governmental lease-purchase agreements. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to obtain the equipment you need.
